Temple Run Brief Game Description
Temple Run is a 3D endless runner mobile game. It was developed and published by an American company Imangi Studios. Initially, the app was designed for iOS devices back in 2011. However, the forthcoming success made developers port it to Android systems.
The game had a huge success, as it literally swallowed up players for hours. The concept seemed to be easy and boring at first. Though, the product quickly became a perfect time killer making millions of people try it.
Every round starts with an explorer running from monsters chasing him. The marathon is never over until the character hits an obstacle or gets caught. At the end of every session, the player gets the rewards. They are in-app currency divided into several categories:
- Gold coins are worth one coin;
- Red coins will add two coins;
- Blue coins give three of them.
They can be spent to buy power-ups and other characters.
How to Play Temple Run
The in-game controls are simple and straightforward. The player swipes left or right to move the character in a corresponding direction. It allows the character to avoid obstacles and collect coins. In order to jump over an object or duck, the player swipes up or down.
Nothing can stop your courageous explorer unless he hits a wall or falls into the water. The game tempo steadily increases, as you move forward. There is no end to the temple, so demonic monkeys will eventually get the hero. Try to concentrate harder when the speed becomes almost unbearable.
Hitting High Score In Temple Run
